I pre-orded this book and was very impressed that it arrived on the day of release.
The author delves into the depths of the soul to explore feelings and scenarios not always comfortable. The poems are best read a few at a time to absorb the thought provoking imagery.

Excellent set of poems very beautifully written. There is a set of realism to all of the poems and I could relate with many of them. It brings back memories of when I was growing up and the times then. Some of the poems are heartfelt and emotional. I especially like the poems “Listen”, “The Wind” & “England”.

Upon reading the first few poems I knew immediately that my entire family would love it, and I was right. Such a beautify way to connect with something different for everyone. 

This is a beautiful collection. I know it’s only 56 pages but I still would like the eBook version. Thanks Becca. 

I love this book it’s a wonderful collection of prose and poems that are contemplative of the ups and downs and small things in life. You can sense the author’s emotions in some of them. It’s a book you can pick up many times and glance at a line or read a poem and just let the words linger in your thoughts. A lovely collection for anyone interested in poetry and creative writing.

I thoroughly loved the book. The opening poem, ‘Prose Poem’, struck me immediately with its subtle yet powerful narrative about a man grappling with unexpected loss, Becca writes without overt sentiment, leaving space for personal interpretation and deep connection. In ‘The Music of Sussex’, she elegantly reflects on the town of East Grinstead in West Sussex, drawing on her personal roots with grace and authenticity. ‘Graves of the Undead’ moves with a quiet intensity as it speaks of soldiers resting in unmarked graves far from their homelands, while ‘Just for the Record’ captivates with its final inspiration from the First Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians. I was particularly touched by ‘Six O’Clock News’, which portrays the contrasting perspectives of two girls, one from Al-Araqib and the other from Israel, highlighting the power of poetry as they process the stark reality of bombings and deaths. The poems ‘So Bad’ and ‘Cold’ offer raw and honest reflections on depression and hope, illustrating how small moments of light can emerge from darkness.
